Step 1: Open Notepad
Step 2: Write following line in the notepad.
this app can break
Step 3: Save this file as xxx.txt
Step 4: Close the notepad.
Step 5: Open the file again.

1> Open Notepad
2> Enter four words separated by spaces, wherein the first word has 4 letters, the next two have three letters, and the last word has five letters
3> DON'T hit enter at the end of the line.
4> Save the file.
5> Close Notepad.
6> Reopen Notepad.
7> Open the file you just saved.

Make your own command

How to make own Command.

Start > Run > Notepad.exe


Paste the following code in NotePad.

How to rename Recycle Bin

How to Raname Recycle Bin Name

1. Goto Run > Start
and Type

Regedit

and enter, if Registry Editer does not open, YOu can also find a trick in this blog to repiar the Registry Editer


2. Press Ctrl+F to open find box and type 'Recycle Bin' to search.
3. Change any value data with 'Recycle Bin' to whatever name you want to give it ( ie, like 'Trash Can' or 'Dump' etc).
4. Press F3 to continue searching for 'Recycle Bin' and change wherever you come across 'Recycle Bin' to new its new name.
5. Repeat step 4 until you have finished with searching and changed all values to its new name.
6. Close regedit and hit F5 on desktop to see the new name on screen.


Note: As a good practice, always backup your registry before changing anything although changing 'Recycle Bin' name is a simple tweak and doesnt affect anything else.

How to create invisible folder

Friends this a good trick with which your Folder will invisible,
One way to hide folder is to right click on Folder and then click on Properties and then Check the Hidden option.

But i am going to tell you some different.


Create a New folder by right clicking on the window area of explorer and select new folder.

Now, Name the folder as

Hold ALT and press 0160 on numpad consecutively and then release ALT.

This will create a blank ASCII character. Now, we also make the folder icon invisible.
For doing this...

Right Click on the folder and select properties

browse to Customize tab.

Click on Change Icon. Select the blank icon available in shell32.dll looking at the image below
You are done..

Neither the folder icon nor the folder name is visible...

How to create folder with no name

Having Icons with No Name
Normally you have to have a name for an icon, just spaces are not allowed.
To create an icon with no name attached:

Make sure NumLock is on
Highlight the Icon you want to change
Right-Mouse click and select Rename
While holding down the Alt key, type 0160
Now the icon will have no name below it.
To Create Multiple Icons with No Name

Follow directions detailed above
With the second icon simply add one space-bar character AFTER the 0160 number.
Each successive icon gets an additional space-bar character at the end (to prevent a duplicate naming error).

How to Lock Folder

I stumbled upon an interesting article some time ago. It was about locking folders with a little trick.

Here i will show you what you need to do.

so.. to start off.

-select a folder you wish to lock (example: folder 'pictures')

-now make a batch file! how?
-open Notepad and write inside:

ren pictures pictures.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}

-save the text file in the same directory as the pictures folder and name it Lock.bat (be sure to select saving as 'any file' and not .txt)

Now we have the locking batch file! :)
so.. lets make an unlocking file!

-open Notepad again, and write inside:

ren pictures.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} pictures

-save the file in the same directory as before with the name Key.bat

There it is! lock and key files!! now double-click on lock to lock the pictures folder, and double-click the key to unlock it !

you will notice that the pictures folder icon changed to the control panel icon and while locked will lead to the control panel.

How to create CON, LPT1 and COM1 folder

It is said that no one can Rename a folder to CON, LPT1 and COM1.it is said that Microsoft
also does not know that why a folder can not be renames to CON.
I am going to tell you some tricks to rename a Folder with a name CON,

i. Right click on folder and click on rename and
type COM and then press ALT+255 and enter.
Note: You have to type 255 from Num Pad.

ii.
Goto command prompt,

Type C: or D: where you want to create CON folder,

Now type mkdir \\.\e:\con

So, your CON folder is created, you cannot delete, to delete it, Do the following.

Goto the dir where the folder is, If the Con folder is in D:/, type

rmdir \\.\d:\con

and enter.
