Hide Partition for better security

There are many peoples who want to hide their partition for security reason.
This trick will help you to hide your Hard Disk Partitions.

Step 1: Open run, type
cmd
and press Enter.

Step 2: Type
DiskPart
in command prompt and press enter.
Step 3: Type
List Volume
and press enter.

You will see list of all the Partitions you have!

Step 4: Select volume of your Partition you want to hide, e.g i want to hide my
Partition E (Volume 3).
Type

Select Volume 3

Step 5: Now type
Remove letter e
and press enter.





Now no one can access your hided drive even by typing e:/ in url.







To show you drive back


Step 1: Open run, type cmd and press enter.

Step 2: Type
DiskPart
in command prompt and enter.

Step 3: Type
List Volume and enter.

Step 4: Select the volume in which no Drive letter is displaying.
Means type
Select volume 3
and press enter.

Step 5: Now type
Assign letter e
press enter and exit.




Now you will see again you e partition on opening My Computer!

Create Shut down shortcut on desktop

It takes time on clicking
Start >> Turn off Computer and selecting Turn off!

Follow the following few steps to create shortcut to Shutdown.

1. Right Click on Desktop and
New >> Shortcut.


2. In the Blank Box type:

shutdown -s -t 60 -c "Computer will Shutdown in 60 Seconds."




3. Click Next and name it Shutdown in the next Name option.



4. You have created a Shutdown shortcut, on clicking your computer will shutdown after 60 seconds.

5. Now right click on the Shutdown shortcut and click on Properties. Click on Change Icon and select any icon from the list.
That's all!



Note: You can change 60 to other value, its for time in seconds after which your computer will shut down. If you want that my Computer shutdown direct after clicking on Shutdown shortcut, then change 60 to 0. e.g!

shutdown -s -t 0 -c "Computer is shutting down"

Instead of
"Computer will shutdown in 60 seconds"
you can also type other message.

Use Google as Calculator

Goto Google.com and in search box, type

5+5=

Now click on search. You will get the answer!
It will be 5+5=10.

You can also Multiply, Subtract and divide, e.g

Multiplication
4*6=

Division
10/5=

Subtraction
33-9=

NotePad Dairy for Pc

You can Create Diary without any software in Note Pad!

Open Note and type:

.LOG

Save it with any name e.g "Diary" and exit.
Now open Diary, you can see current Date and Time, so start writing Diary now!

Desktop Taskbar Trick

You can see some programs shortcuts of Internet Explorer, Windows Media Player etc on Desktop Task Bar.
YOu can also add shortcuts of your choice in Taskbar.

Goto
C:\Documents and Settings\CheckedTricks\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

In the upper Address, instead of "CheckedTricks" you have to goto your own User Name folder.
Now copy your choice softwares you want to add on Taskbar. Past it into "Quick Launch" folder.
You you can see shortcuts of your pasted Software shortcuts on the Taskbar.

Open Note Pad and Type

MD 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Now Save it as Folder.Bat

Open Folder.Bat
You will see 7 folders are created with names 1,2,3,4,5,6,7.
You can also change the names of folders, Fisrt type MD, Give a space, type Name of first folder then Give a space and type name of second Folder and so on, e.g

MD Videos Audios

Now when you save the file in .Bat format, after opening you will see that two folders with name Vidoes and Audios are created.
