Regisrty editer does not work

Regisrty does not work

When you go to Run and type Regedit, it does not open the registry editer.

So it is not a big problem.

Open Note Pad, to open it, goto Start>Accessories> and click on Note Pad.

Copy the following code and past it in Note Pad.

[Version]
Signature="$Chicago$"

[DefaultInstall]
AddReg=UnhookEditRegKey

[UnhookEditRegKey]
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\batfile\shell\open\command,,,"""%1"" %*"
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\comfile\shell\open\command,,,"""%1"" %*"
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\exefile\shell\open\command,,,"""%1"" %*"
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\piffile\shell\open\command,,,"""%1"" %*"
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\scrfile\shell\open\command,,,"""%1"" %*"
HKLM, Software\CLASSES\regfile\shell\open\command,,,"regedit.exe "%1""
HKCU, Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System,DisableRegistryTools,0x00000020,0

Now Save the as .inf file. For example if you want to save it in D:, In Note Pad goto File and click on Save. Select D: and name it RegInstaller.inf.

Note: You can select any other name but don't forget to .inf after typing name.
Now click on the saved file and click on Install.

Now your Registrty editer will work. Go to Run from Start and type Regedit, it will open Registry Editer.
